After playing a crazy fan of Mammootty in Bipin Prabhakar directed One Way Ticket (2008), Prithviraj will once again team up with super star Mammootty in a new film titled Pokkiri Raja, written and directed by debutant Vysakh, a former assistant of Joshi and Johnny Antony. In this film, Prithviraj will play the role of Mammootty's younger brother; they play the sons of an idealistic school teacher who turn into rowdies. According to sources, one of the brothers runs away from home and becomes a big 'dada', while the other stays at home and turns into a local 'dada'. Years later, the two dadas meet in a big city and sparks fly as they do not know that they are brothers! Pokkiri Raja has Nedumudi Venu, Thilakan, Siddique, Saikumar, Innocent, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu and Salimkumar also in the cast. It has two heroines who are yet to be confirmed. The film, produced by Mulagupadam Films, will start rolling in January and will be Mammootty's big summer release. Talented actor Prithviraj has appeared in a number of Malayalam films. He has proved to be a mass hero after the success of Puthiya Mugham.
